A restaurant in Thailand when your team speaks Thai and you don’t
POSitive is built inside our own restaurants in Phuket, where the owners speak Russian and the cooks and cashiers speak Thai. So it solves what costs such places money and time: language, control from a distance and Thai paperwork.
- Every device in its own language: the kitchen works in Thai, you work in English or Russian
- Your manager writes in the chat in Thai, you read it in your language — translated automatically
- Photograph a Thai supplier invoice or a Makro receipt — the lines become a goods receipt

What is solved for a venue with a foreign owner
Language stops getting in the way
The register and the kitchen display switch language on the device itself: the cook works in a Thai interface, the manager in English. Kitchen tickets and guest receipts print in the languages set for the venue, whatever the screen shows.
อ่านเพิ่มเติม →Messages without a translator
Internal chat messages and tasks like “the fridge is broken” are translated automatically: the manager writes in Thai, you read and reply in your own language. Translation never holds up the message.
อ่านเพิ่มเติม →Thai invoices from a photo
A photo of a supplier invoice or a Makro receipt becomes a draft goods receipt with items, quantities and prices. The invoice can be in Thai, English or Russian — you check it and post it.
อ่านเพิ่มเติม →Control when you are not on the floor
An item removed after it went to the kitchen, a discount, a manual price, a table closed without payment — all logged with the employee’s name and time. Receipts can’t be deleted and the log can’t be edited afterwards.
อ่านเพิ่มเติม →Your venue on your phone
The Plus app shows revenue, average check, receipts, shifts and the kitchen for each venue and for all of them together.
อ่านเพิ่มเติม →Cash that adds up
The register shows at any moment how much cash should be in the drawer. Pay-ins, pay-outs and expenses are recorded with a category; a Z report prints when the shift closes.
อ่านเพิ่มเติม →Every device in its own language
Russian, Thai and English are switched on the device itself — with a flag on the sign-in screen, in the staff menu or on the kitchen display. The register can run in Russian, the kitchen display in Thai and the manager’s back office in English, at the same time and independently of each other. A Thai cook, a Russian-speaking manager and a waiter who prefers English work in one system, and each sees it in a language they understand.

- The language applies only to the device where it was chosen: the tablet next to it keeps its own
- Switching takes one tap, with no restart and no trip to the settings
- The back office and the Plus app remember each person’s language: a manager sees their language on any computer or phone
- Guest receipts and kitchen tickets print in their own languages, regardless of the screen language
Payments the way guests and staff in Thailand expect them
Money in baht, the payment methods people actually use and Grab orders — without extra software.
- Cash, card and PromptPay QR in one receipt, split as needed, with tips and change
- With Stripe connected, the register shows the guest a Thai QR for the exact amount — any Thai bank app can scan it
- A Grab order is entered as dishes from your menu, and the register shows the Grab promo or markup against your prices
- VAT 7% included or added; the total can be rounded to whole baht, including in the guest’s favour
- Thai text prints cleanly even on cheap printers: the receipt goes to the printer as an image

Why we know this
Our restaurants in Phuket ran on popular POS apps for several years. POSitive is built inside them and has been running there every day since July 2026. The owners speak Russian and the team speaks Thai, so different languages on different devices and control from a distance aren’t an add-on for us — we couldn’t run our own venues without them. New features go live with us first and only then with clients.
Questions foreign owners ask
Can I run the venue from another country?
Yes. The back office works in a browser and Plus on your phone. Revenue, receipts, shifts, voids and discounts appear straight away, and each venue has its own time zone, so reports show local time.
My staff only speak Thai. Will they manage?
The register and the kitchen display are fully translated into Thai, and the language changes with one tap on the device; dish names on screen are shown in English. The back office — the owner’s and manager’s workplace — is complete in Russian; on some of its screens the English and Thai translation is still being finished.
How will I know what a Thai invoice says?
You don’t need to read it: a photo of the invoice becomes a draft goods receipt with items, quantities and prices. You check it and post it. Recognition is a separate module, up to 200 invoices a month.
How do I know staff aren’t skimming the takings?
Every void after the kitchen, discount, manual price and unpaid close goes to Control with a name and time. Cash is checked against what should be in the drawer. Nobody can delete a receipt or edit the log — not the cashier, not the manager, not us.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The register keeps selling takeaway: sales are stored on the tablet and go to the server without duplicates when the connection returns. Until then receipts and kitchen tickets don’t print, and tables and QR payment aren’t available — worth knowing in advance.
How much is it and in which currency?
In baht, per venue: the register is ฿249 a month, with inventory and the kitchen display ฿449, everything ฿749. The number of tablets and staff doesn’t change the price. 14 days free, no card needed.
Can you move my menu from my current POS?
Yes. We move dishes, categories and prices from your previous POS and help with recipes and stock levels.
