Money requests and balance
How the administrator asks for money for purchasing, how the owner approves it, and where to see the balance on the accounts.
A typical story: the administrator needs money for purchasing. This used to be settled with a phone call and a note; now it is a request.
How it works
- The administrator creates a request at the register: the amount and what it is for.
- The owner sees it in “Plus” and approves or rejects it.
- An approved payout goes into expenses with a category and an author.
Account balance
This shows how much money is on the accounts right now — by venue and by account. It answers the question “do we have enough to pay the supplier” without opening reports.
Why this is needed
Money handed out “from the till against a note” is the most common reason for a discrepancy at night. When the payout is recorded, it is visible in the shift, in expenses and in the history.
