Venue settings
Name, time zone, currency, opening hours, language, floor plan and addresses of external panels.
The “Venue” tab holds what is set at launch and hardly ever changes.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | Printed on the receipt, visible in chain reports |
| Time zone | Decides which day a late-night receipt belongs to |
| Currency | Can be changed only before the first sales |
| Default language | The interface language for new staff |
| Floor plan | Turns on the table map; for a coffee shop it is turned off |
| Opening hours | Used to count the night shift and to send a reminder about a shift left open |
Opening hours
Set by day of the week; working past midnight is supported: “from 18:00 to 02:00” is one shift, not two.
Days off
A day can be marked as a day off — then the reminder about a shift left open does not come.
Addresses of external panels
This is also where you set the links opened by buttons in the back office: the website admin, the aggregator panel, the waiter page. It saves hunting for bookmarks for people who work in several systems at once.
Several venues
Each venue is set up separately: its own time, its own currency, its own hours. Switching is in the back office header.
