Stop list

How to take a dish off sale, what happens on the website storefront at the same time and how to bring the item back.

The salmon has run out — the dish has to come off sale immediately, not by “telling the waiters”. That is what the stop list is for.

How to put an item on stop

Open the Stop list at the register, find the item and take it off sale. Its tile at the register is greyed out — the dish can no longer be added to an order.

What happens at the same time

  • the dish disappears from the website storefront — the guest will not order what you do not have;
  • the item stays in the menu and in reports, it is simply unavailable for sale;
  • in Plus the owner sees the venue’s current stop list.
Stop on an add-on

If it is not the roll itself that has run out but its sauce, put the add-on on stop. The dish keeps selling; only that option becomes unavailable.

Taking an item off stop

The same way: find the item in the stop list and put it back on sale. The storefront learns about it immediately.

Auto-stop

If automatic stop is enabled, a dish goes onto the stop list by itself when a product from its tech card runs out in stock. This only works for products with tracking enabled — see Turning on stock tracking step by step.
