Suppliers
The supplier list, delivery and price history, supplier item codes and links to the price list.
The supplier is entered in a receipt — and that is exactly why a history is built up for them.
What you can see
- which deliveries there were and for what amounts;
- how prices changed for a specific product;
- which products you buy from this supplier.
Item code and link
In the product card you can enter the supplier’s item code and a link to the item in their price list. This saves time when ordering: no need to look for “that particular salmon” among similar ones.
Why look at the price history
Purchase price rises come quietly: a price changes by 8 %, nobody notices, and a quarter later food cost has gone up by five points. The price history shows this earlier than the profit report.
