Receiving goods at the register
How to receive a delivery right on the tablet: a photo of the invoice, recognition, a QR code for shooting with a phone.
The supplier has brought the goods — you can record the receipt without walking over to a laptop.
The quick way: a photo
- Open Goods receipt at the register.
- Take a photo of the invoice.
- Wait for recognition — the system pulls out the items, quantities and prices.
- Check against the paper, correct whatever does not match and post the receipt.
If the tablet is far away
Tap the QR code: a page for shooting with a phone opens. The photo goes into the same receipt — no need to bring the invoice over to the tablet.
Manual entry
Items can also be added by hand: choose a product, enter the quantity in the purchase pack size (“box 10 kg”) and the price. Pack sizes are tied to the product — this is not a shared seventy-line list.
What happens after posting
- the stock balance increases;
- the weighted average cost is recalculated;
- the food cost of every dish that contains this product changes;
- the document becomes immutable — the only correction is a reversal.
A quantity error shows up at the stocktake. A price error quietly distorts the cost of every dish with this product — and is discovered a month later, when food cost has “somehow gone up”.
