Invoicing a guest from the chat

How to send a guest a payment link right from the order chat and what happens after they pay.

A guest wrote in the chat, the order is agreed, but they don’t want to pay on delivery — or the courier is leaving without change. You can invoice them from the same conversation.

How it works

  1. In the order card the manager presses “Issue an invoice”.
  2. The guest gets a payment link in the chat.
  3. The guest pays — the order is marked as paid, and the payment method is filled in automatically.
  4. The courier leaves without money: nothing to take or count.

What is configured

Invoicing is enabled for each venue separately — in the integration settings. If the button is missing, it is switched off: this is not a fault.

Why you need it

  • a courier without change: the money arrived in advance, no argument about change;
  • prepayment for a large order: a banquet or an office delivery are the usual reasons;
  • a guest from abroad: pays by card without having cash in baht.
A link is not a substitute for agreement

Send the invoice after the order has been confirmed in the chat. A link that arrives before the conversation looks like spam and stays unpaid.

What the system shows

A payment by link lands in the account mapped to its payment code — just like a website payment. In reports such an order is no different from others: the source and payment method are visible, and the money is in the right account.
